Wooden Dining Tables: Custom Built in Cape Town

We build solid pine dining tables to order in our Cape Town workshop. Our standard table is 1800 × 900 mm and 750 mm high, and seats six.

As a guide, a 4-seater is about 1400 × 800 mm, a 6-seater about 1800 × 900 mm and an 8-seater about 2200 to 2400 × 900 mm. Custom sizes are welcome. You choose the tabletop thickness, the leg or base style, the edge detail and the stain or paint colour. We also make matching benches, coffee tables, console tables and desks. B-grade pine is our standard timber, strong with plenty of character. A-grade pine has fewer knots and costs more.

Timber
B-grade pine as standard: strong, with knots and natural character. A-grade pine is optional: cleaner, fewer knots, costs more.
Finishes
Stains, timber colours and paint colours of your choice, plus tabletop thickness, edge details and leg or base styles.

How long does a table take to make?

Every table is made to order, so timing depends on the size, the design and how busy the workshop is. Our current lead time is [LEAD TIME TBC], and we confirm it with your quote.

Do you deliver and install?

Yes. We deliver and install in Cape Town and surrounds, and our delivery area is [DELIVERY AREA TBC]. You can also collect from our workshop.

How do I look after a pine table?

Use coasters and placemats, wipe spills straight away and clean with a damp cloth. Keep it out of strong direct sun so the colour stays even.

What size table do I need?

How do the deposit and payment work?

We ask for a deposit of [DEPOSIT TBC] to start the build, and the balance is due on completion, before delivery or collection. Custom work is non-refundable once we have started, but you get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of ordering.
