We build solid pine beds to order in our Cape Town workshop, from single beds and bunk beds to double and king-size frames. Every bed is made to fit your mattress and your room.
Custom beds suit awkward rooms, shared kids' rooms and anyone who wants a frame that matches the rest of their furniture. You choose the size, the headboard style, the leg style and the finish. We can build a bunk bed, a loft bed with space underneath, a bed with drawers, or a simple low frame. B-grade pine is our standard timber, strong and full of character. A-grade pine is cleaner and costs more.

How long does a bed take to make?
Every bed is made to order, so timing depends on the size, the design and how busy the workshop is. Our current lead time is [LEAD TIME TBC], and we confirm it with your quote.
Do you deliver and install?
Yes. We deliver and install in Cape Town and surrounds, and our delivery area is [DELIVERY AREA TBC]. You can also collect from our workshop.
How do I look after a pine bed?
Dust it and wipe it with a damp cloth, then dry it off. Keep it out of strong direct sun so the colour stays even, and check the fixings now and then.
Can you build a bunk bed or bed with storage?
Yes. We build bunk beds, loft beds and beds with drawers underneath. Tell us your mattress size and room size, and we suggest a design.
How do the deposit and payment work?
We ask for a deposit of [DEPOSIT TBC] to start the build, and the balance is due on completion, before delivery or collection. Custom work is non-refundable once we have started, but you get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of ordering.
