Wooden Chairs: Custom Built in Cape Town

We make solid pine chairs, stools and benches to order in our Cape Town workshop, often to match a table we are building for you.

Chairs suit dining rooms, kitchens, studies and kids' rooms. You choose the seat height, the back style and the finish. We can make a set of dining chairs, kitchen bar stools, a bench for one side of the table, or small chairs at child height. B-grade pine is our standard timber, strong and full of natural knots. A-grade pine looks cleaner and costs more. Stains and paint colours can match your table or contrast with it.

Questions about chairs

How long does a chair take to make?

Every chair is made to order, so timing depends on the size, the design and how busy the workshop is. Our current lead time is [LEAD TIME TBC], and we confirm it with your quote. A full set takes longer than a single chair.

Do you deliver?

Yes. We deliver in Cape Town and surrounds, and our delivery area is [DELIVERY AREA TBC]. You can also collect from our workshop.

How do I look after wooden chairs?

Wipe them with a damp cloth and dry them off. Keep them out of strong direct sun, and add felt pads to the feet to protect your floors.

Can you match chairs to my table?

Yes. We can match the stain or paint colour and the leg style of a table we build, or get as close as we can to one you already own if you send a photo.

How do the deposit and payment work?

We ask for a deposit of [DEPOSIT TBC] to start the build, and the balance is due on completion, before delivery or collection. Custom work is non-refundable once we have started, but you get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of ordering.
