Wooden Kids' Easels: Custom Built in Cape Town
A wooden easel gives young artists a proper place to paint, draw and stick up their work. We make each kids' easel to order in our Cape Town workshop, at a height that suits your child.
Easels suit playrooms, bedrooms, classrooms and covered patios. We can build a single-sided easel or a double-sided one so two children can work at once. You choose the height, the board size and the colour. Popular extras include a chalkboard side, a paper roll holder, a paint tray and clips to hold paper. B-grade pine is our standard timber. A-grade pine is cleaner and costs more.

Questions about kids' easels
How long does a kids' easel take to make?
Every kids' easel is made to order, so timing depends on the size, the design and how busy the workshop is. Our current lead time is [LEAD TIME TBC], and we confirm it with your quote.
Do you deliver?
Yes. We deliver in Cape Town and surrounds, and our delivery area is [DELIVERY AREA TBC]. You can also collect from our workshop.
How do I clean off paint?
Wipe wet paint off with a damp cloth as soon as you can and dry the wood. Keep the easel out of strong direct sun if you want the colour to stay even.
Can it be double-sided?
Yes. We can make it single or double-sided, and each side can be a chalkboard, a board for paper or another surface you prefer. We also set the height to suit your child.
How do the deposit and payment work?
We ask for a deposit of [DEPOSIT TBC] to start the build, and the balance is due on completion, before delivery or collection. Custom work is non-refundable once we have started, but you get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of ordering.
