A wooden deck turns uneven ground, a bare patio or a sloped garden into a level space for chairs, a braai and family time. We build decks to order from our Cape Town workshop and install them on site.
Decks suit back gardens, pool areas, balconies and spaces outside sliding doors. You choose the size, the shape, the board direction and the finish. We can add steps, railings, built-in benches and planter boxes around the edge. Ask us about pairing a deck with a pergola for shade. B-grade pine is our standard timber. A-grade pine has fewer knots and costs more.

How long does a deck take to make?
Every deck is made to order, so timing depends on the size, the design and how busy the workshop is. Our current lead time is [LEAD TIME TBC], and we confirm it with your quote.
Do you deliver and install?
Yes. We deliver and install in Cape Town and surrounds, and our delivery area is [DELIVERY AREA TBC]. You can also collect from our workshop.
How do I look after a pine deck?
Pine used outdoors must be sealed, then resealed regularly to keep it protected from sun and rain. We seal with [TIMBER TREATMENT TBC] and will tell you how often to reseal. Sweep off leaves and dirt so water does not sit on the boards.
Can you build on a slope?
Often, yes. Send us photos and measurements of the space and we tell you what is possible, along with the size, shape and finish options.
How do the deposit and payment work?
We ask for a deposit of [DEPOSIT TBC] to start the build, and the balance is due on completion, before delivery or collection. Custom work is non-refundable once we have started, but you get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of ordering.
