We make wooden shelf units, wall shelves and frames to order in our Cape Town workshop. Each piece is built to the size of your wall, alcove or picture.
Shelves suit lounges, kitchens, studies, kids' rooms and garages. You choose the length, the depth, the number of shelves and the finish. We can build open bookcases, floating-style wall shelves, alcove shelving and wall-mounted frames for mirrors or pictures. We can also match a piece you already own. B-grade pine is our standard timber, strong and full of natural knots. A-grade pine looks cleaner and costs more.

How long does a shelf unit take to make?
Every shelf unit is made to order, so timing depends on the size, the design and how busy the workshop is. Our current lead time is [LEAD TIME TBC], and we confirm it with your quote.
Do you deliver and install?
Yes. We deliver and install in Cape Town and surrounds, and our delivery area is [DELIVERY AREA TBC]. You can also collect from our workshop.
How do I look after wooden shelves?
Dust them and wipe with a damp cloth, then dry them off. Keep them out of strong direct sun so the colour stays even.
Can you match the colour of my existing furniture?
Send us a photo and we suggest the closest stain or paint colour. You can also choose the length, depth and number of shelves.
How do the deposit and payment work?
We ask for a deposit of [DEPOSIT TBC] to start the build, and the balance is due on completion, before delivery or collection. Custom work is non-refundable once we have started, but you get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of ordering.
